Pure Nature Matatabi 2 pcs

For the restless cat. For multi-cat households.

Complementary pet food for cats

Compound:
2 Matatabi sticks

Indication(s):
For the cat with:

  • Aggressiveness
  • Uncleanliness
  • Destructiveness (scratching furniture)
  • Lots of meowing
  • Licking oneself a lot / or pulling out hair (hairballs!!)

For the frustrated cat.

Matatabi offers distraction in certain situations such as during a trip or move, after expanding the family or admission to a boarding house or at the vet.

Properties per ingredient:
The Matatabi tree is related to the Kiwi tree and grows in Asia, especially in China and Japan. The dried twigs of this tree have a very special effect on cats. There is a substance in it that cats like, that relaxes them and sometimes even hallucinates them to a slight extent.

Matatabi contains Actinicine and matatabi lactone. These are alkaloids with a mild chloroform or alcohol-like effect that influence the nerve stimulation in the brain in Felidae.

It is often observed that cats that are naturally relaxed and laid back are less interested in the sticks than cats that are under tension.

Dosage and application:
You can give Matatabi as a toy. Cats play with the stick, some chew it or bite it to pieces.

Many cats will roll and rub on areas where the stick or its remains have been.

If the bark is removed from the stick, the effect is even greater.

Side effects: there are no harmful side effects. Some cats can react very strangely to the sticks. For example, there were owners who reported that their cat seemed 'ecstatic' with pleasure and some cats also start to drool (lightly). This is harmless.

Dosage:
Do not give more than two to three times a week, otherwise habituation will occur and the sticks will become less interesting. Remove the stick as soon as the cat has finished playing.

Remark:
In combination with medication, consult a veterinarian first. If problems occur, stop giving and consult your veterinarian
